Ask what the program actually offers
The branch page names rifle shooting but does not specify an air-rifle discipline, distance or competition format. Ask the team which program is currently offered, how the introductory class is structured and whether a suitable group is available for your experience.
Confirm supervision and venue instructions
ISSF introductory rifle education includes safety as a foundational topic. Ask the Selaiyur team how its induction is conducted and who supervises new participants. Follow the instructor’s venue-specific directions; an online guide is not a substitute for the academy’s in-person induction. Read the governing body’s background guidance →
Clarify eligibility and joining details
Share the participant’s age and previous experience. Ask about eligibility, any required documents, equipment arrangements and current fees. Wait for the team to confirm the visit time and exact location. This article does not provide equipment-handling or shooting-technique instructions.
